The perfect party house (and a great carrot cake:)

A cute little town in Connecticut is New Canaan, known for its 20th century architecture and home to marketing executives Nada and Avery Stirratt. “I always wanted to live in a loft, and Avery always wanted to live outdoors,” Nada says. “We selected this property specifically because of the trees and the privacy" she says to Architectural Digest. Nada continues; “It’s the perfect place for parties—and we love a good party. The police have only had to come twice!” I can totally see how this modern sleek house is perfect for a pool party or two...

And while we´re at the town New Canaan; when I was in New Canaan last year we went to a cafe on main street called Rosie's where we had "Mile high Carrot Cake" for dessert. I mean just the name wants  you to order it. And it didn´t disappoint if I may say so...

  2. Caroline, My zen, clean line twin....I love it! There is something so purifying, calming, relaxing about this style that I tend to crave....simply, purely fab!!

  3. Very cool and beautiful furniture, as not all modern furniture is... But I could enjoy this space for a little bit before I go back to a euro villa with art nuveau and traditional feel((:
