HOW-TO: Create a positive mindset - fast

It´s said that we think 60 000 thoughts a day. It is also said that the mind can only hold one thought at the time. Many of us think much more negative thoughts than we think we do. Our habit of negative self-talk is so entrenched within us that we´re not even aware of it. I was totally unaware of how many negative thoughts I actually could think and how they affected the body and life in general, several years ago. Today I know better. The good thing is that anyone of us can easily create a positive, creative mindset within a short period. This is a great hands-on technique from Robin Sharma that I sometimes use when negative thoughts occur (which they of course do for all of us!). It´s very effective. Try it!

When an undesirable thought occupies the focal point of your mind, immeditately replace it with an uplifting one. It´s as if your mind is a giant slide projector, with every thought in your mind being a slide. Whenever a negative slide comes up on the screen, take swift action to replace it with a positive one.
