Dreaming of Tuscany...

There is something about autumn. Every September I just feel an urge to go to Tuscany in Italy. Although I´ve been to Italy many times, I´ve never been to Tuscany. Maybe that´s why it´s a constant dream...It could also have to do with  the fact that I´m totally obsessed with olive oil, it´s as important as red wine, and differ a lot in taste depending on region. And the Italian food in general... can you ever go wrong? Dreaming of a holiday in Tuscany, involving the dramatic scenery as well as olive oil, Italian food and wine, I think I´ve just found a place that offers it all. Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort. Just the name sounds promising. The restaurant offers a special olive oil menu. And you can even plant your own olive tree and name it after you. After the planting you can relax by the pool and in the afternoon take an Italian cookery class with the head chef promising to give away the Italian cooking secrets. If that isn´t enough one can go truffle hunting in the villas' woods...
This is definitely coming on to my must-visit-list-soon...
{A two night stay in superior room with one special dinner for two, olive oil tasting, olive oil tree planting, massage at the spa and a bottle of olive oil starts at 452 Euro, according to their website}
and have a lovely Tuesday!

  3. Gaaah! Jisses vad alldeles, alldeles underbart det ser ut! Vi siktar på en liten Italy-tur på höstlovet, det är ju bara runt knuten liksom.
    Hade siktat in oss på Portofino, men men....

    1. Älskar Portofino! Har bara varit där en gång och det var amazing! Gör det! Kram

  4. Absolutely gorgeous! The resort sounds perfect. It's tough when we get "the traveling bug" .. it's so expensive. We just got back from Europe and I'm ready to go again. I've never been to Italy and can't wait to go!

    1. Leslie, I have been following your trip! Loved it. I totally agree with you, the more you explore and travel to you just want to see more, and I love gorgeous hotels...(not so budget friendly for a family:) xo Caroline

  11. Klart man längtar och drömmer till Italien. Always. Jag och bästa vännerna ska ha några sköna italienhappenings framöver. Nästa vecka Serwito och nya Woody Allen filmen. Som visserligen fått dålig kritik. Men vaddå?
