The Monday Peptalk - Change your limiting beliefs

Don’t let your mind stand between you and success. I´m a true believer of changing beliefs that don´t serve us in life. That is sometimes easier said than done, but having done this myself a lot over the last decade I know it works more than well. Jack Canfield is a bestselling author of several books within self-empowerment. In his book "The Success Principles" he recommends this simple four-step process to transform limiting beliefs into empowering beliefs:

1. IDENTIFY the limiting belief that you want to change.

2. DETERMINE how the belief is limiting you.

3.  DECIDE how you want to be, act or feel.

4. CREATE a turnaround statement that affirms or gives you permission to be, act or feel this new way.

According to the book it is also important to stick to the new belief system for at least a month. And for even better results one should combine the new belief with positive action.

If we only do one thing for ourselves today;
let´s change a limiting belief!
