Looking airbrushed with foundation [REVIEW]

I´m so happy that the Dior Airflash is back on the shelves again since it´s been a long time favourite that´s been discontinued. This spray foundation really does leave you with an airbrushed look, easy to apply when you get the hang of it. This is also a great touch up during day or for going from work to an evening out. (Keep one in the office drawer:). Don´t forget to shake it before using, very important. Dior recommends to spray over face in the shape of a Z, starting with the forehead and ending on the chin. You could also spray it on a kabuki brush and buff it onto face which gives a fuller coverage.

Some cities are always on my mind, as I told you before. New York is, as for many of you, such a city. I haven´t been there in the autumn though, which I very much hope to do in the nearest future. New York is also such a great hotel city with alternatives for everybody. Maybe most important is to decide in which part of the town you want to stay and which budget you are willing to spend. Sometimes a less expensive hotel can be good for the shopping:)

Are you a shoe or handbag girl? You can´t be both you know:) I´m definitely a handbag girl. I actually fall in love with handbags for real. The Marcie bag from Chloé by Hannah MacGibbon has long been a favourite of mine. Still I haven´t gotten around to buy it though. So, a bit later than when it was an it-bag, I actually seriously consider buying it. In a new updated colour. I know everyone else is focusing on the new it-bag from Chloé, the Baylee handbag. But for me it´s still Marcie. I love a classic bag with a twist. I think I actually love everything about Chloé. The style, the clothes and the fabulous 70's hair.

Last Saturday evening was spent in restaurant Tarantella in Hamburg. This was a new experience for us, having tried many other good restaurants in Hamburg. Tarantella however quickly became a new favourite. Our criteria were splendid food and great people watching.

Last weekend was spent in Hamburg with friends. It was a perfect weekend in all ways. Since we´ve been there before several times we knew where we wanted to eat, where to shop and where to stay. On Saturday we went for a shopping stroll (in the rain) and then had a long lunch in one of our favourite restaurants.

I think I´m a little bit in love. In Cindy Crawford's and husband Rande Gerber's home in Baja Peninsula in Los Cabos, Mexico. But it doesn´t stop here. The couple have built this magnificent home side by side with their friend George Clooney, who has his retreat next to Crawford-Gerber. All personal breakthroughs begin with a change in beliefs, says world known motivational lecturer and author Tony Robbins. Most of our daily life is based on old belief systems that we´re carrying around and probably not questioning. Although that is exactly what we should do. Tony Robbins means that the key factor is to be consciously aware of your beliefs and the ones that you´re creating along the road. If a belief does not empower you, change it. On his blog Tony Robbins gives ten empowering beliefs to replace the old ones with. Try it, it takes some active thinking but this will give you a more positive view on things. These are my five favourites from his selection:

1 The past does not equal the future.
2 There is always a way if I’m committed.
3 There are no failures, only outcomes—as long as I learn something I’m succeeding.
4 I find great joy in little things… a smile… a flower… a sunset.

The other day I had the perk of being treated to a really great skincare treatment. You see, I went to a birthday party this summer and found myself talking to a new acquaintance, a woman with the most glowing and beautiful skin. It didn´t take long before we were talking all about skincare regimens. It turns out that her gorgeous skin was a) a result of good DNA b) she´s the business developer manager at medical skincare brand Exuviance and uses only their products.
