Inside LA - 5 hot spots

OUTER BEAUTY
Recently I interviewed the Swedish entrepreneur Lotta Alsén about her exciting life in LA. (You can read that interview here.) Since Lotta has lived in Los Angeles for many years now, we just had to ask Lotta for her best LA tips as well.

5 Los Angeles hot spots
1. The yoga scene is one of the best in the world. Whether you want to explore more spiritual forms of yoga, practice beside celebrities or go very deep, you will find almost everything here. Visit Yoga Works on Main Street in Santa Monica, Exhale in Venice, or experience Kundalini Yoga at Golden Bridge in Hollywood. Or at Russell Brand's new yoga studio close to Larchmont.

2. The beaches, which is what most Swedes want to know about. Venice, Santa Monica and of course the Malibu beaches are all amazing.

3. The Santa Monica Farmer's Market on Wednesdays. Amazing presentation of organic fruits and veggies, and even prepared food that is grown here, with some of the biggest array of fresh fruits and veggies in the world.

4. First Fridays on Abbot Kinney in Venice. Abbot Kinney has been chosen to be one of the hippest streets/neighborhoods in the US. If you come on the first Friday of each month, there's also a street festival where all the traffic has been closed off, and there are food trucks that are lined up along the entire street. There are tons of musicians and all the galleries are open and free. Fun experience.

5. Go hiking in Runyon Canyon in West Hollywood, get a great workout and encounter tons of celebrities. Or for a more peaceful and visually stunning experience, go hiking in Temescal Canyon and see why this is one of the most beautiful nature spots on earth.
