Hottest trend this autumn is slippers, replacing our beloved ballerina shoe, and according to Net-a-Porter.com the fastest selling shoe right now. We can totally see why. They´re not only gorgeous but also comfy. But, no boring slippers for home alone wearing in sight, please. Preferably they should have spikes (another hot trend!). Or at least some glitter or bold colours. I think I need more than one pair. At least.

Today it´s bye bye to beautiful Marbella and Puerto Banus and hello to Scandinavia and Sweden. It´s been a few wonderful weeks, but now I am more than ready to take on autumn with its crispy air, long walks, hot chocolate and autumn fashion!

Have you tried the newly launched makeup and skincare brand UNE? It´s 100% natural origin, with the catchy slogan "Nothing to hide, it´s our green pride", which I found out on their website. Well, just a catchy slogan doesn´t do it for women like us, even if it´s natural. But, being curious and looking a little more at organic and natural skincare (a girl needs to keep up with the market:), made me try it out. All summer I have been using the Breezy cheeks blush in colour Grand air, and every time I put it on I think to myself that I am a little bit in love with this blush. The colour is gorgeous, especially paired with a little hint of bronzer first and then a little extra of this rose colour makes it the perfect match. And it is so smooth and blends in eaysily which isn´t always the case with creme blushes. I also really like the eyeshadow palette which has great base colours that is flattering for most skin types. The brand can be found in many big departement stores in Scandinavia, such as Sephora at Illum in Copenhagen. On une.com you can also find online stores to ship everywhere. Rosy cheeks is also huge this autumn according to beauty editors of the glossy mags (and I have been reading them ALL since spending a long time at the hair dresser:), which makes this a keeper after the summer is gone!

Bohemian luxury at the beach

The other day when we went to Tarifa we had the hotel Dos Mares as a base, spending the whole day at the hotel and its beach. This is a little hotel gem with all kinds of guest, from couples, families, active people to chic people. There´s room for everyone. To describe it the words colourful, charming, unique and with details everywhere will do it justice. It´s not a luxury hotel, but since it has so many details and a to die for view and location, this feels like bohemian luxury as you want it. This is not a boring hotel, to say the least. Being a hotel junkie, I could see myself check in here for a couple of days...

I know most people are actually doing fall right now, but we´re still at the beach a couple of more days...Soon I promise the blog will do autumn and back to school mood:)

So, yesterday we left Puerto Banus for the day and took the car for a visit to Tarifa, which is a total surfers paradise, and a big contrast to the glitter and glamour in the Marbella area. It was a lovely day spent on the beautiful beach, which is not always easy and suitable for a one year old though...so we mainly hanged out at an extremely charming and unique beach hotel in Tarifa. On Sunday I will tell you all about this little hotel gem and show you photos. Hope to see you then and wish you a great start to your weekend!

The other day I took a stroll in the harbour of Puerto Banus. There are many restaurants and shops to visit, and the best part is that they are open all day, no siesta here, and most are open until 2 am in the evening. Well, most of the shops you end up just visiting though, but they´re a great source for inspiration...

Spanish finds at the market

Saturday in Puerto Banus means market day. So together with almost every other person in Puerto Banus I headed up to the local market this weekend. The weather for this little excursion was outstanding. Not too hot and a bit foggy. Couldn´t wish for better shopping conditions. The market is situated by the big bull fight arena with endless stands of almost everything. Steer away from all the usual crap you´ll find at the market and go for the rare local suppliers from pearls, jewellery and most of all my own favourite, Spanish ceramics. I´m slightly obsessed with it actually, having brought many pieces over the years back to our home in Sweden, gently packed in suitcases, me a bit "oh careful with that bag mr" at the airport:) But the pieces provide us with found memories of sun and carefree days the rest of the year, so it´s worth it. If you visit the market I can really recommend Swedish owned restaurant Starz, right in the middle of it all. Their BLT is one of the best I have ever had, with homemade basilmayo and avocado to it. And don´t you just love the glamourous take on the traditional beach bag in gold or silver?
